Pass Through the Stick Triangle

This drill will work to practice hook, slip or saucer passes. Replace the cone with a stationary coach or player. Look for other places on the ice to do the same drill (ie. from behind the net to the slot).

Spartan Button Hook Passing

It is the receiver’s responsibility to give a target for the passer.

Show WHERE you want it. Present your stick blade on the ice or point to a spot for an area pass.

Tell me WHEN you want it.

Eye contact is essential between the passer and receiver.
