The Right Up

Here is a straight-forward play to get the puck deep from a centre ice face-off. Note the left winger’s first job is to get the puck deep. The other forwards forecheck full speed, create the turnover and then attack the net. The left winger then drives the net and scores the goal.

It’s a simple play, but the speed of execution is key.
