Women's Hockey - NEW Scholarship for Ontario students
Hello Coach,
I wanted to introduce myself and our team to you and tell you about an exciting new scholarship opportunity for all Canadian students living in Ontario.
We are the University of Michigan-Dearborn Women's hockey team, and we are an ACHA D1 team located in Dearborn Michigan, which is just a 30-minute drive from Windsor Ontario. We're in our 7th season, and compete nationally in the US, and have been a top 10 ranked team in our division the last two seasons. We recruit all over the USA and Canada and currently have 15 Canadians on our team roster.
Our university just announced a new Great Lakes Scholarship (starting in Fall 2026) which allows admissible Ontario students to pay the Michigan in-state tuition rate (around $16,000 per year in US dollars). This new scholarship is a savings of approximately $18,000 per year ($72k over 4 years).  I've attached a graphic picture with more details, and here is a link to our website - Non-Resident (First-Year, Transfer and International) Scholarships | University of Michigan-Dearborn
