My name is Blake Hackbarth, head coach of the Davenport University ACHA Women’s D1 team. I got hired in the beginning of May and I'm simply trying to connect and build better relationships with coaches at the youth levels.
Our team is fully funded by the university. We pay for the players’ gear, transportation, meals, apparel, and much more. We operate as a varsity team on our campus, and our university treats us as such. I am a full-time coach at this university for the women’s team.
I simply want to connect for present and future opportunities, whether that's to discuss players looking for collegiate opportunities or simply as someone I can bounce ideas off of. I can also set up tours and other training opportunities as well if you find your team down in the Grand Rapids region for whatever reason — next year or five years from now.
